Unfortunately, my big review from the ice has been postponed, however, my wonderful husband made it to the ice today to take my place as I had to make a trip to the Panhandle.
From Duluth, things appear pretty physical on day two. Unfortunately, we have Cormier sidelined with a broken foot already, but he impressed everyone in the short time he has been in the system so far and no one is ready to write him off yet. Maybe things will shape up enough for us to get a glimpse of him towards the end of this season?
I am rather disappointed to hear that Slater is injured again. He is spending a lot more time injured than active as of late…I hope this turns around! I believe he is a key element in the game.
According to my husband, Buff and Hainsey made a nice match up today and I am truly excited to see that first hand.
I do think the guy I may be most excited to see in action during camp might just be Pettersson. I read a lot about him before training camp started and he, so far, is showing what all the talk is about!
