The latest marketing campaign that took off this morning is, well, weak to say the least. Embarrassing, hmm…I think that is even a little better of a description. At this point, from someone who works in the marketing industry, it is becoming ridiculously UN-amusing.
At a time when the Atlanta Thrashers are competing in a serious race for 1st in the division, our marketing department seems to be having the most difficult time promoting this team? Is there anything about this that seems out of place to anyone else?
I think the Thrashers need our help in a big way. And I think Blueland has more than enough tools, talent and creativity to help them out. And poor Thrash…goodness, we need to get that poor bird back on track…
So, for the love of our amazing talent, I ask you all, PLEASE help this marketing team come up with a new campaign. Post it here…if they read it, AWESOME, if not, let’s send it to them!
