Jets Send Scheifele To Barrie

It had been speculated for a while now but the Jets have made it official today, sending Mark Scheifele back to Barrie of the OHL. He had one goal in seven games, but he clearly had some issues with the physicality of the NHL. I’ve said all along that he has the skills you can’t really teach, i.e. the puck possession type skills, but his skating and his physique need some work. Hopefully he’ll work on those and hopefully we’ll get to see him play for Canada at the WJCs this year.
