The Winnipeg Jets and Nic Petan have come together on terms to a 3 year 2 way contract worth $925,000 a year.

The Centerman is having an outstanding season with the Portland Winterhawk having scored 20 goals and 46 assists in 32 games. He also has played in 3 games at the World Juniors for Team Canada picking up a 3 goals and an assist in 3 games with Team USA on the horizon tomorrow.
