VIDEO: Every Recorded Stanley Cup Celebration In Three Minutes

BySkylar Peters|

The 2014 edition of the Stanley Cup Playoffs are well underway, and at the end of it all, one team will walk away with one of the most prized possessions in sports, the Stanley Cup.

From the Chicago Blackhawks, who are vying for their second straight championship, on the verge of becoming a hockey dynasty, to the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have earned their first post-season wins in franchise history, every team has a shot at taking home Lord Stanley this spring.

The Cup is literally etched in history: from Jean Beliveau‘s record 14 appearances on the silver, to Jaques Plante’s name being spelled differently each time, and the countless stories that go along with it, Lord Stanley is truly a standing lesson in hockey history.

In just a few weeks, another set of names will join those elite few on the surface. To get you even more excited about the Playoffs, here’s one of the coolest videos of this hockey season: from the Maple Leafs winning their third straight in 1949, to the Blackhawks winning their second in four seasons just 11 months ago. All in 180 seconds.
