The Winnipeg Jets were able to get back on track in this one. They defeated the Montreal Canadiens 5-2 behind goals from 5 different players. One of those goals was from the now healthy Dustin Byfuglien.

Goalie Ondrej Pavelec also drew the start after being benched for a back-to-back. He 2 goals on 43 shots, an impressive feat. He should draw the start on Sunday against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Canadiens struggled in this one – particularly on the defensive end. Goalie Dustin Tokarski, who drew the start for the resting Carey Price, allowed 5 goals on just 27 shots. He more than likely will not draw a start for a little while after this.

Defensemen Alexei Emelin and Jeff Petry were also part of the defensive problem. They combined for a -8 +/- in about 40 minutes of play.

So, what did you think of the Winnipeg Jets’ performance tonight?
