Winnipeg Jets to Sign Michigan Captain Andrew Copp
The Winnipeg Jets have signed 2013 fourth-round pick Andrew Copp to a contract. He was previously the University of Michigan’s Captain.

The Winnipeg Jets will be adding to their prospect core effective immediately.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the Jets will be signing Michigan Captain Andrew Copp to a contract.
Michigan junior captain Andrew Copp has decided to forgo his senior season and sign a three-year, two-way, entry-level contract with the Winnipeg Jets.Copp, an Ann Arbor native, will report directly to Winnipeg.
Copp had an impressive career at U-M. He finished with 40 goals and 41 assists in 107 games for the Wolverines.
He will join a rising prospect system that includes newly acquired forwards Joel Armia and Brenden Lemieux, Nikolaj Ehlers and Nicolas Petan.
