Winnipeg Jets Release TV Schedule
The Winnipeg Jets have released their 2015-16 television broadcast schedule today and once again, every game will be carried on Canadian cable stations.
60 home games will be carried on TSN, or, more specifically, TSN3 – available to those living in the Jets broadcast region. It also pretty much all of the Jets seven preseason games, starting on September 22 when Winnipeg hosts the Minnesota Wild. The lone exception is the final preseason game against Calgary on October 3, which will be joined in progress at 9 p.m. central, an hour after puck drop. The Saskatchewan-B.C. football game begins at 6 p.m. that night on TSN3.

The regular season also starts on TSN3, when the Jets open up the schedule on the road against the Boston Bruins at 6 p.m. The rest of the 82 game schedule will be shown on CBC, Sportsnet, and City TV as a part of the national broadcast schedule. That of course includes a 15 game slate of Saturday Hockey Night in Canada games that will be shown across those networks.
The Jets will play the Wednesday night national game on Sportsnet four times against Canadian opponents. Those dates are November 4 (@ Toronto), November 18 (vs. Vancouver), December 2 (vs. Toronto), and March 30 (vs. Ottawa).
The other three games will be the Sunday Hometown Hockey games on Sportsnet. The first of those comes on November 1 when the Jets visit the Montreal Canadiens, when the Hometown Hockey crew will be in Sherbrooke, Quebec. For fans in Winnipeg, the Hometown Hockey tour will be coming to the ‘Peg on April 2-3, the latter day when the Jets host the Minnesota Wild.
The broadcast talent remains the same this year with Dennis Beyak and Paul Edmonds behind the mic on the TSN broadcasts, both radio and television. Once again, they’ll be joined by analysts Brian Munz and Shane Hnidy.
