Adidas and the Winnipeg Jets have released a hint as to what the reverse retro jerseys will look like. Here’s what the Jets new jersey may look like.

The latest news sweeping around the hockey world is the new alternate jersey teams will have this upcoming season. The Winnipeg Jets, along with every team in the NHL, will have a jersey called the reverse retro.

Adidas or the NHL have yet to have a press release explaining the concept of these new sweaters, but many people are intrigued by them.

First, Adidas tweeted a video showing a reverse retro for each team. The video was quick and many fans were left guessing which team was which because there was nothing on the video to indicate what team they were showing. Now the Jets, and many other teams, released a snippet of what their looks like.

The clip is short and only shows the back of the jersey. Here’s the sneak peek of what the new Winnipeg reverse retro sweater:

Many fans are left wondering what is going to be on the front of the jersey. One good guess is that it could be a similar logo to what  Teemu Selanne, Phil Housley, Keith Tkachuk and the 1992-1993 Winnipeg Jets team wore.

As of right now I do not know how I feel about this jersey, but then again this is just an animation. It will be interesting to see how this jersey looks when it is officially released. Once that happens,  fans can give it a full assessment on how they feel about them.
