The Winnipeg Jets have announced they will scrimmaging today at training camp and there will be a live stream of the game for all fans to watch.

Training camp is almost at a close for the Winnipeg Jets. The last day of camp is on Wednesday and the Jets will kick off their 2021 season against the Calgary Flames on Thursday night on home ice.

Even though the Jets are so close to the start of the new season, the Jets coaching staff and front office still have many important roster decisions to make.

The Jets need to dwindle their training camp roster to a 23-players by opening night, while also naming four to six players to their taxi squad.

At the beginning of camp, the Jets only had one scheduled scrimmage on their schedule, which happened last Wednesday when Team Blue beat Team White 3-2. The Jets decided to change their plans for today and will be having another intrasquad scrimmage today at 11:30 a.m. central time.

As shown in the tweet above, the game will be streamed live on Winnipeg Jets’ social media, and the stream will start around 11:30 a.m. The roster’s for today’s game look even and this should make for a close game between the two teams.

Team White looks to feature what will be the Jets’ top-two lines for the upcoming season. Look for White to lineup on forward like this: Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler, Connor-Stastny-Laine, Perreault-Suess-Luoto.

Team Blue will feature what will most likely be the bottom-six forwards for the Jets in 2021. During today’s scrimmage, they are projected to lineup like this: Copp-Lowry-Appleton, Vesalainen-Thompson-Lewis, McKenzie-Reichel-Gustafsson.

Paul Maurice looks to have split up the defense evenly between the teams. Team Blue will have seven defensemen, while Team White will feature eight. There is a good chance we will see many different combinations on defense during the scrimmage.
