The Winnipeg Jets are back in action tonight at the Canada Life Centre for the fourth game of their seven-game homestand. This evening, the Jets host the St. Louis Blues. Tonight’s game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. central time.

On Saturday, the Jets’ eight-game point streak came to an end as they were shut out by the Islanders by a scoreline of 2-0. That loss to New York was the first time the Jets were held scoreless this season and was their first home loss of the 2021-2022 season.

Tonight is the Blues’ fourth and final game of their current road trip. The Blues prior three games of this trip were in California and they posted a 1-1-1 record. On Sunday, St. Louis lost 4-1 to the Anaheim Ducks.

The Winnipeg Jets look to start a new point/winning streak tonight

As mentioned above, the Jets’ long point streak ended on Saturday night. They will look to get back to their winning ways against a divisional opponent this evening.

Odds

The Winnipeg Jets come into tonight as the underdogs, courtesy of WynnBET.

The Jets have performed well against Central Division opponents this season posting a 3-0-1 record and they have only lost back-to-back games once this season (the first two games of the season).

Expect tonight to be a close game!

Projected Lineups

The Jets may be forced to make a couple of changes for tonight’s clash against St. Louis. Both Mark Scheifele and Paul Stastny left Saturday’s game early, and they did not practice yesterday. Both of these players will be listed as game-time decisions.

If Scheifele and Stastny are unavailable, expect Riley Nash to come into the lineup for Scheifele, and Jansen Harkins will move up to the second line and replace Stastny. Kristian Vesalainen will then play and move onto the fourth line.

Connor Hellebuyck did participate in practice yesterday and is expected to get the start tonight after Eric Comrie has played the past two games due to Hellebuyck being unavailable.
