The Winnipeg Jets will be playing the sixth game of their current seven-game homestand when they host the Los Angeles Kings tonight at the Canada Life Centre. This game is an hour earlier than usual. Opening puck drop for tonight’s clash is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. central time.

The Jets are coming into this game after a great performance on Thursday night. Two nights ago, Winnipeg played outstanding en route to a 4-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks. You can read our site’s recap of the game by clicking here or the “NEXT” link at the bottom of this article.

The Winnipeg Jets look to shut down the red-hot Los Angeles Kings

The Kings are playing great hockey as of late and are one of the hottest teams in the NHL. Los Angeles is currently on a seven-game winning streak and have won their three prior games on their current four-game road trip that ends tonight in Winnipeg.

Last time out, the Kings beat the Senators, who had nine players in the COVID-19 Protocol, 2-0 in Ottawa.

Oddly enough, the Kings’ last loss came on October 28 against the Jets, but since then they have been unbeatable.

Odds

The Winnipeg Jets come into tonight as the favorites, courtesy of WynnBET.

This is an extremely interesting matchup this evening. Los Angeles has the longest current win streak in the NHL and is coming against the team who gave them their last regulation loss and who had a great performance their last time out.

The last time these teams met, the game went down to the wire. The Jets were trailing by a goal at the start of the third period but scored two unanswered third period goals to win the game 3-2.
