It has been a long time since we have seen fans in Canada Life Centre watching the Winnipeg Jets in action. As a matter of fact, the last time the Jets played a game in front of their loyal home supporters was on December 19, 2021, when the Jets beat the St. Louis Blues 4-2.
Since that game before Christmas Break, the Jets have only played two games on home-ice in January 2022. Those games did not allow for any fans in attendance and the Jets lost both of those games.
The Winnipeg Jets will have a fifty-percent capacity for their game on February 8th against the Minnesota Wild
The Jets along with True North Sports Entertainment announced this morning that the Jets will have a 50% capacity in their first game back from the All-Star Break which is on February 8th when the Jets host the Wild.

It has still not been revealed which fans will be selected to go to this game, but the announcement does tell ticket holders for this game to check their emails.
The Winnipeg Jets are looking for Better Success at Home
The Jets’ record at home is just a little bit over .500 as they have a 10-8-1 record at the Canada Life Centre.
The Calgary Flames are the only team among the top-sixteen teams in the NHL with less than ten home wins. Both the Colorado Avalanche and Florida Panthers, who are the top-two teams in the league standings have both eclipsed twenty wins on home ice. The standings this year show a correlation between home success and a team being in a playoff position.
The Jets have a great chance to change their home fortunes around when they return from the break. Five of the Jets’ first seven games after the All-Star game are on home ice and three of those contests are against divisional opponents.
