The Winnipeg Jets return home this week after completing a successful two-game road trip on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Jets took three of four points from back-to-back games which included a 4-3 overtime loss to the Stars on Friday night, but the Jets followed that loss up with a great 5-2 with over the Predators on Saturday.

With those results, the Jets now currently sit in sixth place in the Wild Card and trail the second spot by seven points, although Winnipeg has four games in hand on Anaheim. The Jets also have an uphill battle in the Central Division as they are twelve points behind third place, Nashville, but the Jets do have three games in hand on the Predators.

Starting tomorrow the Jets start a four-game homestand and they are set for a big boost during this homestand.

The Winnipeg Jets will allow for a full capacity crowd starting Wednesday

The Jets announced that on Wednesday the Canada Life Centre will now allow for a full capacity crowd.

This means that the Jets will again have a fifty-percent capacity when this homestand starts tomorrow against the Chicago Blackhawks, but then the remaining three games will have a full, 100-percent crowd. Those three games will be against the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday, Seattle Kraken on Thursday, and Edmonton Oilers on Saturday afternoon.

The Jets have only played three games on home ice since the beginning of the new year. In January the Jets did not allow for any fans at their games, and they lost both of those contests. Last week, the Jets beat the Wild 2-0 in a great rivalry game in front of a 50-percent capacity crowd.
