1. Kyle Connor Finally Breaks Through

After being hit with one of the worst cases of puck luck you’ll ever see, Kyle Connor finally broke through to record his second goal of the season.

In dramatic fashion, Connor sniped one past Sam Montembeault of the Montreal Canadiens to win the game for the Winnipeg Jets. It was a feeling of great relief, as one of the league’s elite scorers had finally scored his first goal on a goaltender in 2022-23 (his other goal was an empty netter).

It will be interesting to see if the monkey is officially off of his back because the Jets could definitely use his elite scoring ability going forward. Here’s hoping the old Kyle Connor is back because he’s among the most exciting players to watch in the whole league.
