The Winnipeg Jets look to continue their impressive run of form at the Canada Life Centre as they face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight in the second game of the Jets’ current three-game homestand. The opening puck drop is set for 6:00 p.m. central time (7:00 p.m. eastern).

On Thursday night, the Jets improved their home winning streak to five games as they beat the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 in regulation. Kyle Connor was the talk of this win as he scored a hat trick including scoring his third goal with just under a minute left in the game to give the Jets the lead.

The Winnipeg Jets look to keep their home winning streak alive as they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins who are on a Central Division road trip.

The Penguins started off this season extremely well as they as won four of their first five games, with their one loss coming in overtime. After that, Pittsburgh dropped their next seven games. Since then, the Penguins have posted a 3-1-1 record in their last five games.

Pittsburgh is in the midst of a three-game Central Division road trip. On Thursday, the Penguins kicked off this trip with a 6-4 win over the Wild. Sidney Crosby had four points in the win and Tristian Jarry picked up the win in goal. The Penguins will finish this trip tomorrow night against the Blackhawks.

Currently, the Penguins are 2-0-0 against the central, while the Jets have won their lone game against the Metropolitan Division (the home opener against the Rangers).
