The Winnipeg Jets finished their three-game homestand with an intriguing against the Carolina Hurricanes last night.
The Jets started this game extremely well. Pierre-Luc Dubois opened the scoring in the first period on a breakaway. Then in the second period, Mikey Eyssimont scored his first NHL goal to increase the Jets’ lead to two goals.
Shortly into the third period, Josh Morrissey scored to give the Jets a 3-0 lead. All seemed to be going extremely well for Winnipeg as they were en route to an impressive win over one of the Eastern Conference’s best teams.
