Chaz Lucius and Robert Pattinson

Look-a-like rating (out of 10): We are on a roll with 7’s, so like in Craps, lets keep it rolling.

Summary: I like the name Chaz better than “Robin” so perhaps there is a sidekick role in Chaz’s future. These two have a distinct look with a dreamy aesthetic. Let’s hope that Chaz grows into a Batman-like role.

Other Similarities: Pattison rose to fame playing a vampire and Lucius’ game has teeth. You came for hockey analysis, but got vampire puns instead – my apologies.

On Lucius: Chaz has 2 goals and 3 assists with the Manitoba Moose, and is off to a slow start having been hampered with injuries. He is still a terrific prospect, but his injury history is a growing concern.

Nate Schmidt and Vern Troyer

Look-a-like rating (out of 10): This one is just for fun.

Summary:  Look, I am aware that using Mini Me in any comparison is silly, and a tad irresponsible. That said, they both do have magnetic smiles and a distinctive look. I’ll refrain from calling them clones. Truthfully I just wanted to bring attention to Schmidt’s hat in the above photo.

Other Similarities: No low-hanging fruit to pluck here.

On Schmidt: I don’t think it gets mentioned enough that Nate went undrafted, and was claimed by the Capitals in 2013. Its a remarkable achievement, and his play this year has been solid. Hats off to you Nate.

Once again, let me know how I fared at @AirportLounge55 on Twitter or in the comments below. I’ve almost run out of Jets players to profile in this space, so I’ll do what the Godfather franchise should have done – stop at 2.
