The Winnipeg Jets face off against the Montreal Canadiens tonight with puck drop in Montreal scheduled for 6:00 p.m. central time.

The Jets come into tonight’s game after splitting a two-game series at Bell MTS Place against the Vancouver Canucks. The Jets got shutout the first game but stormed back on Tuesday night in game two en route to a 5-2 win.

On Tuesday the Canadiens picked up their first win since February 13. Two nights ago, Montreal beat the Senators 3-1 on home ice.

The Winnipeg Jets kick off a five-game road trip tonight

Starting tonight, Winnipeg will be on the road for their next five games. The Jets will take on the Canadiens again on Saturday night, then they will head to Toronto for three games against the first place, Maple Leafs.

The Action network lists the Jets as the underdogs in tonight’s matchup.

The Jets are a good play in this one. They have performed well, as of late, compared to the Canadiens who have been extremely inconsistent in their most recent games.

Projected Lineups

With no apparent injuries on Tuesday, the Jets are only projected to make one change to their lineup that got the win at home.

That change will be in goal. Connor Hellebuyck is projected to start after Laurent Brossoit played outstanding in relief on Tuesday night.
