The Winnipeg Jets are less than two months away from opening their 2021-2022 regular season as they begin their quest for the Stanley Cup.

Originally Winnipeg was scheduled to open their season with a three-game road trip, starting with their season-opening game in Anaheim on October 14 at the Honda Center.

There has been one slight change to this game. No the opponent nor the venue have not changed, but the date of the game has been altered.

The Winnipeg Jets will open up next season a day earlier than originally announced

Instead of opening the season on October 14, the Ducks have announced that their home opener against the Jets will now be on Wednesday, October 13. Puck drop for this season-opening game, for both teams, is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. central time.

After the Jets face Anaheim, they will then travel to San Jose to take on the Sharks on October 16. Finally, on October 19, the Jets will finish their trip with a Central Division showdown against the Wild in Minnesota.

After the final game of their trip against the Wild, the Jets will have their home opener on March 21 against the Ducks. Puck drop for the Jets’ home opener is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CST and the Jets are planning to have a capacity crowd at the Canada Life Centre for that game and all home games throughout next season.
