The Winnipeg Jets are back on home ice tonight after a quick two-game road trip as they host the Chicago Blackhawks at the Canada Life Centre. The opening puck drop is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Central Time.

This game kicks off a four-game homestand for the Jets and will be played in front of a fifty-percent capacity crowd. Then on Wednesday against the Wild, the Jets will return to allow for a full 100-percent capacity crowd at their home games.

Winnipeg has played well since the All-Star break as they have won two out of their three games and have picked up points in all three of those games (2-0-1 record).

The Winnipeg Jets look to start this homestand off with a win against the struggling Chicago Blackhawks

This is the third game of a three-game road trip for the Blackhawks and they have split their prior two games. Chicago has only won one of their last five games and currently sit in seventh place in the Central Division with 41 points in 48 games.

Odds

The Winnipeg Jets are listed as the favorites in this game, courtesy of WynnBET.

Winnipeg as the favorites is no surprise especially when you factor how these teams have played recently and what happened in the prior matchup between these sides.

Chicago currently ranks 30th in the NHL in goals for per game (2.38) and 24th in goal against per game (3.35).

Besides tonight, Winnipeg and Chicago will meet one more team during the regular season. In the only prior matchup between the Jets and Blackhawks on November 5, the Jets skated to a 5-1 victory.
