In Hockey at the Forks’s first edition of Player of the Week, Blake Wheeler has won the honors for the week of March 8 – 14.
Wheeler had a terrific week for the Jets. He finished with 2 goals, 2 points, 7 shots on goal and even contributed 8 hits in the 2 games he played in. The second of the 2 goals came in last night’s game against the Lightning. With the Jets tied 1-1 late in the game, the former Boston Bruin came through in the clutch to complete the late comeback.
