If you ever wanted to work for the Winnipeg Jets, here’s your chance. True, it’s not in an official capacity, but True North Sports IS hiring.

The Winnipeg Jets will be on the ice at Bell MTS Place this coming season, but you can be, too. That’s right, the Jets are doing the thing from the movie “Invincible”.

Just grab your gear and head down there, don’t even call first. Best player gets a two-way contract. It’s a very exciting time to be a Jets fan.

No, I’m just kidding. But True North Sports is hiring people, and they will be on the ice for Jets and Manitoba Moose games this coming season.

If you want more information, feel free to look here. There’s something for everyone here. Are you a promo person? Do you want to dance, perform, keep people interested and be the center of attention? There ya go.

But also, they’re hiring for ice crew. So if you just want to be close to the action and able to see everything, but slink by unnoticed as you scrape teeth off of the blueline? Have at it!

Both of these people will be responsible for scooping up  hats with shovels and trash cans after hat tricks, so plan accordingly. I’m sure the Jets will have a couple this coming season.

If Kristian Vesalainen ends up with the Moose, you might be seeing a few during those games, too.

They will be at the stadium on September 11 at 5:30,  bring your resume and a pair of blades. If you can’t skate, I highly recommend going, because it would be just hilarious.

But honestly, you should probably know how to skate. These are both part time positions, but you get to share the ice with the Winnipeg Jets. I know I’m not a kid anymore, but that still sounds like a thing I’d love to do. I’d be the equipment guy. I’d be a bat boy for the Yankees, almost being 30 be damned.

Have fun out there.
